    1. If you're patient and shop around, you can probably find a decent, marked example for under $100 (which to me is still astronomical). Scott
    2. Please forgive my ignorance, but why is the HOH3X in 5th place? I'm not familiar with the shorthand, "Personal Nachrichten 4.12.17 and in Wtbg PN 31.12.17." Thanks! Scott
    3. Jeez Paul, did you hit the lottery? The third great tunic in as many weeks! - another superb find with great history!! Scott
    4. Superb Richard - thanks for sharing them with us! Scott
    5. A superb piece - very unique!
    6. Nice score Paul - lots of untold history in that one. Congratulations! Scott
    7. Amazing condition for 60+ years of age!
    8. Nice bar Francois - congratulations. Too bad they broke up the set. Scott

      Atribuited ribbon bar

      WOW!

      Atribuited ribbon bar

Indeed - I also found these three ribbon bars in my photo archive (again, I don't recall who these belong to). Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the reverse of either bar. If such combinations were feasable, one would think crossed-swords would be placed accordingly...

      Atribuited ribbon bar

In my photo archives, I found this plausable 3-award combination: Red Military Cross, Campaign Medal, Wounded Medal (I don't recall who's medal bar this is)...
    12. Wow Paul - another stunning addition to your collection. Superb condition - and with the side cap too! Congratulations Scott
    13. Nice one James Here's one I have...
    14. Can't wait to see the tunic Paul. Scott
    15. Actually, that looks like the standard "Egana" mark ...? Scott
    16. Please Rick - don't hold back your feelings on this type of person Scott
    17. Antonio - can you post some clear photos of your #7 marked Lezos or Lizos? Thanks. Scott
    18. Yes - in addition to the Spanish series of medals showing up in the period catalogs of S&L, Schickle, Deumer, etc., it looks like they may have been made for Spain in Italy as well. No wonder there are so many variants! Scott
    19. Hello Otis - that is a facinating helmet, and well-preserved if authentic. The marking on the front would be for the US Army Air Service (the US Air Force wasn't created until September 1947). Cheers . Scott
    20. Burnie, Can you make clearer photos in better lighting from straight-on, front & back? Perhaps a close-up of the maker mark as well? Thanks . Scott
    21. Nice shield. I'd really like to have one in my collection, but they are heavilly faked, and my eyes have not yet been trained sufficiently to tell good from bad :-( SCott
    22. I don't recall which museum that photo is from - but it's always been one of my favorite photos too. Scott
    23. Vince, the photo below shows what a complete set would look like. Depending on condition, 1939 EKIIs seem to average somewhere between $70-$150, and seem to be go up in price about 10% a year. Please keep us up to date on your progress! Scott (Just kidding with the photo )
    24. Fantastic badge Francois! Tim - you been watching the naked channel on TV again? Scott
