    1. Can this be restricted to the north shore of teh Mediterranean? To keep Arab awards together??
    2. Despite the project which some on the forum have undertaken, this is a fine volume, filling our need for information very nicely.
    3. In the latest -- 52, 2 (March-April 2007) -- Journal of the Orders and Medals Society of America: "Red Square Military Parade Pins". Written by some chap named Paul Schmitt. Well done, Paul!!
    4. In the latest -- 52, 2 (March-April 2007) -- Journal of the Orders and Medals Society of America: "Researching the Soviet Order for Service to the Home;land in the Armed Forces of the USSR 3rd Class". Written by some chap named Dave Schwind. Well done, Dave!!
    5. He eventually sells his things, at his prices. Mainly back to the "Old Country", I guess. ECON 101.
    6. Sorry, Darrell, your reference is lost on me, but try: http://home.netcom.com/~merezhko/medals.html#Partisan_Medals
    7. Yes, ugly as they may be, a fascinating hidden tale of social history and self-awarded medals.
    8. I'd wager they are replicas (which have an active and moderately respected 'niche' in Australia). Worse would be that they are dipped and painted originals (with clasps stripped). A classy display, though!
    9. OK, thanks. I couldn't find it. Obvious user error on my part. Just wanted to see what was said Over There. We do not, so far as I know, have any policy prohibiting links. We know knowledge resides all over. Unlike Other Fora.
    10. Seb: Like mine? I tried to find the thread on That Other Forum (where I rarely go), and it seems not to be there. Managament censorship?
    11. Research requires serious sources, as Rick delicately suggested, not the internet. The internet has nothing to do with "sources" and even less with "research". Those who have actually done it have some idea of the amount of time and money it consumes. Enjoy doing research, it is fun!
    12. Wish my copy would come so I could see it. The problem in being a life member, I guess. Ours are the last to go into the post since they have our money already?!
    13. Sorry, Bill, I was unclear. I was referring to my comments and not your research. I don't much like the free-standing "wow" comments, but what you have presented here deserved that!
    14. Interesting. What is the source for this number? I know that A&T worked in the archives for years, though these honorary awards are notoriously hard to trace. I am, however, surprised at the great difference.
    15. But mine came from you, and it is loved.
    16. Yes, a very nice (and very rare) badge. Not at all sure where/when/how it fits into the other wrestling badges. And no one has even seen a "1", though it must exist. Nice one!
    17. Just a trivial little group to add in here. (And I flipped the ribbon bar when scanning !)
    18. They are really REALLY nice. Sheh-sheh Tang Zi!! Treat it nice.
