    1. If I could figure out what the first letter is of the surname I should be able to figure it out!
    2. Nice photo and that sounds like quite a collection. Hopefully you won't have long to wait to reach 400 such images.
    3. Based on the details held in Volksbund, it would of been another Erich Nath.
    4. Try contacting the Deutsche Dienstelle and giving them his name, date of birth and birth place. They might hold his service record and if you are lucky they could provide you with his service details. They only tend to give details to the Next of Kin but as you are related to him you might get lucky... Deutsche Dienstelle
    5. Here is his burial details. According to the Volksbund he was killed on the 9th July 1943, the forth day of Operation Citadel.
    6. Oberleutnant Ernst-Albrecht Hückel Born: 23 Sep 1919 Highest rank reached: Hauptmann Pi.Btl 43 Chef 1./Pi.Btl 43 Chef 3./Pi.Btl 'Grossdeutschland' Btl-Führer Pz.Sturm-Pi.Btl 'Grossdeutschland' RK: 27 Sep 1943 DKiG: 14 Feb 1942

    15. Stabsfeldwebel Bernhard Marr Born: 22 Jul 1908 Highest rank reached: Major 3./Inf.Rgt 322 Kdr I/Gren.Rgt 757
    16. Latest one - unknown signature for the Btl-Kdr of II/Geb.Jäg.Rgt 144 and dated for June 1943. I know that there was a Franz List (RKT) listed as Btl-Kdr in March 1943 but this signature looks very different from what I would expect from that surname.
    17. Would anyone happen to know who was Battalion Commander for I/Gren.Rgt 757 (338 Inf.Div) during the date shown - 06 Feb 1943? I know Major Bernhard Marr commanded it during the fighting in Southern France in 1944.
    18. Oberst Gottfried Franz Max Arno Reinke Born: 01 Jan 1896 Died: 08 Nov 1981 Art.Rgt 75 I/Art.Rgt 74 Kdr I/Art.Rgt 'Grossdeutschland' Kdr Art.Rgt 'Grossdeutschland' DKiG: 29 Nov 1941 (Majority of information obtained from AHF)
    19. Great photo showing that award. I don't have any photos of it in wear but I do have an entry dated 6th May 1945 in a Soldbuch for it although it is entered with a slightly different name linking it to the Minesweeper/U-Jagd Award - something I have seen a few times.
    20. It is the same officer who has signed on the opposite page. Unfortunately it is a lowly Leutnant and only in temporary command of the Kompanie so unless he achieved something like a high award the chances of finding out any details about him is going to be remote I'm afraid.
    21. (geb.) AOK 20 means 20.Gebirgs-Armee - See here... 20.Gebirgs-Armee Page 12 in the Wehrpass and Pages 4 & 17 in the Soldbuch will show what units he served in with the entries in the Wehrpass also showing the time frames he served in each one. He spent time in hospital with the condition of Mittelohrentzündung - inflammation of the middle ear (must of edited at the same time as Andreas was typing)
    22. The first one looks like a driving licence entry. The second one shows that he is a motorcycle dispatch rider and the third shows 'Gewehrführer' which is a leader of a heavy MG team, hence his training on the MG-42 with Lafette.
