Guest Rick Research
A few more, starting with Baron Massenbach before and after getting his[attachmentid=4269]And a random assortment as many as I turn up randomly that will fit, some known wearers, some not.The weird ?M3K wreath on this one:[attachmentid=4270]is a GODET peculiarity, whether you find the metal "license plate" tag on back or not. This one is the same size as found on buttonhole ribbons:[attachmentid=4272]

Guest Rick Research
A ribbon bar Spange is always EK2, no matter what weird size. (That would be a EK Forum thread :coola: ).The double Waldecks were thanks to a peculiarity which allowed ALL classes awarded to be worn, and not a higher grade replacing a lower as was normal German practice.Lt dR Karl Stracke of IR 83 got the "WV4X" 3 October 1914, and the "WV3X" 20 January 1915 (!!!). He earned his HHOX in 1918 as an Oberleutnant dR.

Bob Hunter
May I be forgiven for wandering of topic a bit? You know all those Hohenzollerns look alike anyway! It's sad when cousins marry...
