LD2 miniature on ribbon bar

I just got this ribbon bar, maybe for a Bremen native, with the not-too-common miniature for the Prussian Reserve/Landwehr decoration 2nd cl. It is a tab back, and the ribbon with the miniature was upside down when I got it, but I fixed this. I think the bar is original.

Given how MANY awards used the plain blue ribbon, it should have been fairly obvious how useful such minis would have been. I think I have only seen 3 or 4.

Dittos for me. With all the ribbon bars I've handled over the years, the medal/cross minis I've seen under a dozen times. Very hard to find!

Just to be accurate, only webr55 showed an LD2 mini. Everything else was for active army, XII years! I have to echo what Rick said sixteen years ago: It's surprising these little helpers weren't used much more often!
