Paul R Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 Hello!! Welcome to the forum and thank you for your question. Well, the insignia are different between the branches... too many to explain in one posting. I am not very experienced with the other branches of German military services. Larry, what can you tell us about the Army's Judicial Officials?
Galdino Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Thanks for the wellcome, Paul!My question was not quite correct about the german insignias. The diference I ask is just about the judicial insignia between the armed forces justice.
Paul R Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 The color of the piping(middle layer) on the shoulder boards is how the Judicial officials are designated! Also, there is a TSD Branch to the Judicial arm as well. They have a sword on their boards!http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=16844
Laurence Strong Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) Hi Sorry for the late response, work has been a bag drive of late, and I have been real tired for the last while. Heeresjustizbeamte Hellblau nebenfarbe Single extremely dirty tabs for the h?heren Dienst. And a mint pair for the gehobener/mittlerer Dienst. A pair of boards for Heersanwalt/Kriegsgerichtsrat with the rank of major. And a single board for the summer white tunic for a Kriegsgerichtsrat/Kriegsrichter with the rank of Hauptmann. Although my sanner is showing grey, it's actually a light blue. I will try an take a piccie someday. There was an einfacher Dienst but I do not have a sample at this time. And trying to find einfacher Dienst tabs is sort of like pulling hens teeth - next to impossible for some reason. There was also the Reichkriegsgericht which had a Bordo nebenfarbe but once again at this time I have no examples to offer. Hope this helps a bit. I have been hoping to set up a thread like this for the Heeres Beamte, but just can't seem to get it finished. Edited January 22, 2018 by Laurence Strong
Paul R Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 I look forward to seeing your Heeres Series, Larry!! I know that you have a lot of great stuff to share!
hirevr13 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I didn't want to leave these jewels unguarded.
Paul R Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 Those are beautiful!! How about some closeup shots of the shoulder boards?
hirevr13 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 No comment on my air brushing? I have a new camera on it's way. After about ten years of point and shoots I can't stand it any longer. In a few days real pictures again.
Paul R Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Your talent for airbrushing is beyond reproach. I figured that you already knew that though. I look forward to seeing your new pics with your new camera!
hirevr13 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Camera arrived two days ago. This evening I was finally able to take a picture. Holy Crap! The manual is 400 pages. Hopefully by the time I get back from fishing in Wisconsin in a week and a half I will be ready for Luft porn.

Paul R Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 Here is a new set of Courtsmartial NCO!!! A nice Carmine nebenfarbe!
ixhs Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) what do i have here, Paul? I would say: Reichskriegsgerichtssekretär (= the rank of an Lt.) In the middle green - the outside is held in red. No better pic possible. Edited January 21, 2018 by ixhs
Laurence Strong Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) A set of boards for either a official in the Military Area Administration and Intendant's Service (Wehrkreisverwaltung und Intendantur), Agricultural Service (Landwirtschaftliche), Artillery Measuring Service (Artillerie-Messdienst)or the Sound Ranging Service (Schallmesswesen) of the Heersverwaltung. The board is missing the HV device. Cheers Larry Edited January 21, 2018 by Laurence Strong

At my shown pieces there were never a device. Good question...

At my shown pieces there were never a device. Good question... Please see that attached scan of HM 36, No 712. It states bordorot as the farbe and that "HV" devices are used.... Allways a possibility that I might have translated incorrectly....... Bordorot with HV devices...there was no other career with that nebenfarbe.... ixhs Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 (edited) Hi - the order means no HV devices on shoulderboards of officials of the RKG. I think your shown boards are pieces of the Heeresjustiz - Heeresjustiz is no RKG. Edited January 21, 2018 by ixhs

Thanks for correcting my translation...I was in a bit of a rush to go see the grand-kids. On my screen they appear to be hochrot as well which would be incorrect for the Reichskriegsgerichts. Their farb was bordo. Also the Luftwaffe Beamte boards do not have the green thread in between the soutache as your have. That was a Wehrmachtbeamteheers thing. I am curious as to why you have bordorot under lined. I am sorry but you have a unfinished set of hochrot HV boards. Un-finished boards are not uncommon. Maybe the tailor had only the one set of boards and was waiting for a sale before adding any devices...who knows. Here are a pair for the Heereslazarettverwaltung that are unfinished....would you want Weißmetall or Gelbmetall, the 2 colors of HV devices have different meanings.... By the way the nebenfarbe for Heeresjustizbeamte was hellblau. Scroll up to post #29 to see some examples...... Cheers Larry Edited January 22, 2018 by Laurence Strong
