Paul R Posted April 5, 2008 Author Posted April 5, 2008 Beautiful and rarely seen nebenfarben!! I think that the gray medium level NCO boards COULD be early pre Nov40 Air Traffic Control. Check out the boards pictured in the section. They appear to have the gray nebenfarben. The book does not actually explain the nebenfarben in the second pattern insignia.
Wessel Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Photo of Oberleutnant of Luftwaffe Administration.
Paul R Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008 That is an awesome portrait!! IS there anything written on the back?
Wessel Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Unfortunately no name or date, but the square of paper backing has a Berlin label.
Wessel Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 A recent addition of a Hauptmann General Administration Geschwader Hindenburg 4-pocket tunic. No labels inside, unfortunately.
Paul R Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 That is so awesome!! I am very envious! Where did you find it? Can you please make some closeups of the shoulder boards, eagle, and tabs?
Paul R Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 I am in awe... it looks to be a very nice piece. I am envious!
Paul R Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 Thank you for the kind words. Can you please post some closeups of the cuff title? I did not think that LW Beamter Service personnel were allowed to wear the unit cuff titles.

Gary B Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 (edited) Hi Paul, Normally I do not collect singles...only on exceptionally rare tabs, which I believe this is! And to think it was just sitting on my kitchen table when I came home....Interestingly its construction is identical to some of the reserve flak officer tabs I have. Same manufacturer?? Most likely from the same maker, I agree.
Wessel Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Paul..I was not aware of that! Was it a Regulation or just practice? The cuff title appears genuine, and well applied, but then any competent tailor can do that.I'll take a photo tonight and post then.
