Beautiful and rarely seen nebenfarben!! I think that the gray medium level NCO boards COULD be early pre Nov40 Air Traffic Control. Check out the boards pictured in the section. They appear to have the gray nebenfarben. The book does not actually explain the nebenfarben in the second pattern insignia.

Normally I do not collect singles...only on exceptionally rare tabs, which I believe this is!

And to think it was just sitting on my kitchen table when I came home....

Interestingly its construction is identical to some of the reserve flak officer tabs I have. Same manufacturer??

They are definitely early tabs. Most likely from the same maker, I agree.

The cuff title appears genuine, and well applied, but then any competent tailor can do that.
