    Second from right is Hindenburg cross with swords (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914-18). Its very common Germany 1WW commemorative cross :cheers:

    Noor,

    Very nice. I don't own one, just a period photo of one being worn. They are very beautiful. Maybe someday.....

    Very interesting! A Red Cross decoration M37-39, not Volkspflege. Should be a doctor.

    Is that a dark blue backing?

    Christophe,

    I check it out in the evening and let you know :cheers: .

    SF3bX? - like I understand SF means white falcon.... b-crown and X-swords.... But what about nr. 3? Class? I was sure that its Knights 2nd class. Or how this number system works.... Gro?kreuz - 1, Komturkreuz - 2, Ritterkreuz - 3 :unsure: ???

    short lesson in Ranklist speech:

    SF (normally in Imperial GSF) Gro?herzoglich S?chsischer Falkenorden.

    The G for Gro?herzoglich came out of use in the Reichsheer Ranklists from 1918 up.

    1= Grand cross

    2a= Commander with star

    2b= Commander

    3a= knight 1st cl.

    3b= knight 2nd cl.

    X= swords

    Best regards

    Just wondering, is there any chance to track this medal bar or not? :unsure: Maybe Red Cross decoration helps?

    Hallo Noor, :beer:

    a very nice piece, congratulations on obtaining it :jumping::jumping:

    Kevin in Deva. :cheers:

    As a total nonexpert to medals and other honors: What's the second from the right? I found such a medal once within a bag of old coins but without the ribbon.

    Hi Einbauschrank, :beer:

    the Hindenberg Cross for Combatant, issued from 1934 onwards,

    Its issue numbers were up to 6 and a half million,

    which makes it a very common award.
