Fake 1870 Godet EK2

Here are some pics from my last waisted money.....I know they are big but that's the only way to see the differences clearly.

It's obviously that the fakers have used an original Godet core(or mybe the core design that is found at Godet 1st classes) to make their fakes! Micha

people tend not to look closely enough at detail/details -

me included! - and afterall, the devil's in the details.

these degrees of finish and sharpness are equally applicable

to '14's and 39's.

It surprises me that the fakers would go to such trouble to produce a replica Godet core of this quality and then encase it in a frame with such poor quality beading (in relation to the original Godet cross).

Can you share those with us and indicate at what points the measurements were taken from on the 'master' cross?

I agree this cross does not look at all the way it should...
