Scott Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I love these kind of pictures! Fall of '39 and all three still wearing cross-straps. All 3 are SCW vets, but haven't had their SCW ribbons added to their ribbon bars yet.Scott
J Temple-West Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 That is a great photo, jacques. Any chance of a closeup of their flight badges?

Guest Brian von Etzel Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Newly addedAck, your post #9, exactly how old is Sean Penn.Sorry, the resemblance is amazing.
spectre Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) Some great pictures you have Jacques. I have a question about your latest one with the NCO wearing the medal bar. It looks like the white (non-combatant) military service cross on the bar but the Spanish Cross sure looks like it has swords.I would have thought with the white service cross he would have had the silver cross without swords, am I right or wrong?? Thanks, Alan Edited December 5, 2006 by spectre

Thanks, AlanHiI already observed that on others pictures. It seems that there is no relation between white cross and spanish cross w/o sword attribution. I don't know pictures showing white cross with spanish cross w/o swords.I've at the moment no logical explaination.jacques
Jacques Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 A DK and Spanish cross recipient. the picture is swall and a bit blury.

Jacques Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 This one is wearing the "Hermann G?ring" collar patches. I think for the Flack with white with a red piping.

Paul R Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Jaques,Those LW admin photos are awesome. I am especially impressed by the Lower Grade NCO photo!! I have not ever seen one of those in a photo before!! Most of these men did not have uniforms.
