PeterL Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) Your opinion on this? Is it a very strong fertilizer with a piquant odour? (That management wording, I would say is - is it a piece og sh*t that stinks?) Edited April 11, 2008 by PeterL
Paul R Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I am not a badge guy, but I am not liking it at all...

ERIC Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Johan,I am unable to access that part of the forum so I am not able to.SorryHi Peter, I took care of it for you - it's now in the Fake Observer database. Hope you don't mind.ERIC
woodeye Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 If the last week had got this board shooter badge, I like it quite well, indeed, the flash bundles were sawed off. Always thought it was made only by the manufacturer and not from the bearers same? The badge itself is from a reduction, unfortunately, I have not got the brand and the pictures, they have remained with the family. What do hold you from the badge ?
woodeye Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 His identity disc was issued on the Sch?tzen Flieger Ausbildungsregiment 43 " Sch./ Fl. Ausb. Regt. 43 ". Does somebody know something about this regiment a little bit?
PeterL Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 Hi Peter, I took care of it for you - it's now in the Fake Observer database. Hope you don't mind.ERICNot at all Eric. I am just pleased that it will be published as a fake for everyone to see, that helps us all.Peter
Naxos Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hallo, no opinions for my badge ?I'm sure if you start a new thread for your badge (name it: Bordsch?tzen-Abzeichen or Luftwaffe Gunner Badge) - you will have some replies.Regards, H
ERIC Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hi woodeye, Can't help you with the regiment information, but I do like your badge. An original 2nd pattern Juncker ROAG with blitz removed. ERIC
nesredep Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 here the frontHello!Good badge, congratulation. All the best Nesredep
ERIC Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 (edited) how can i see the fake database ?It's herehttp://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showforum=145 Edited April 26, 2008 by ERIC
woodeye Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Thank you all. But one question is it possible that the bearers removed the blitz by his one ?
ERIC Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 A very good possibility woodeye - it could very well have been done by the recipient. Then again, it could have been issued to him in an already altered state, an earlier Radio Operator/ Air Gunner Badge reissued to a Air Gunner/Bordmechaniker at a later time during the war. Would be very difficult to know positively unless it came straight from the recipient or his family who knew the story behind it.ERIC
woodeye Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Unfortunately, it also does not know the family, I know only he had the number 77 with the Flieger Sch?tzen Ausbildungsregiment 43 and was already before the war with the air force. My supposition is he had got the badge with flashes before the war lent and because he was a flight engineer or board shooter, he had to remove the flashes from 1942. Because the new badge was given without flashes and the old rentals were not exchanged for new ones.woodeye
