For a couple of years, I've had a grouping of photos that follow a LW soldier through various stages in his career. Then the other day on ebay, I spotted another photo of him. What's more, the photo showed him at a later stage, when he'd received his EK1 and NCO promotion. Quite a coincidence, and I'm happy to say that I was able to get the photo at auction. It is the last one posted here.

Very nice of you to post those, Andreas. Now, unfortunately, I'm going to have to pester you for yours.

Two lost photos found! What are are the odds?

It seems like the man liked his photo taken. Are any of them dated?

Great collection of photos - thank for sharing them. I like the placement of his EKII ribbon on his shirt in the lower photo of post #3.

    Hi Kevin and Andreas!

I believe I can say with 100% certainty that your Fliegerschutzen wears a 2nd Pattern Assmann Radio Operator/Air Gunner Badge - Look at the size of that wreath! :o

My sister just got back from a Chippendales show and swears she saw him there!!!??? She says she also saw Jos?

Old as dust and still getting around! (not you Jos, the other guy).

Kidding aside....dammit Eric! I was going to mention the second pattern Assmann thing, now I have nothing to add but bad humor!

Why the hell are there so many shots of this dude floating around?

BTW, there's a guy selling a CD of WWII photos. Here's the pic he uses for his ebay ad.

I'm beginning to think that maybe this guy was triplets or something!
