ANZAC Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 I decided to take a couple of photos of one side of 'MY WALL'. The other side is being rearranged but will look similar, though it is a bigger wall!! EnjoyBrendan
Scott Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Very tasteful and professional look Brendan - well done
buellmeister Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 (edited) Brendan, I agree! What a professional display. It looks as though you have your own museum exhibit.Regards,Joel Edited June 21, 2008 by buellmeister
Galdino Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 (edited) Outstanding, Brendan! My way to display my collection is similar as your "wall of glory" (my wife call it wall fo fame").I hope that in the near future you will have to find a wall even biggerHow did you fixed the medals inside the fame? Edited June 21, 2008 by Galdino
ANZAC Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 Thankyou all for your kind comments!I attach the award by pinning it through the backing card at the back. The award hangs freely in the frame but is held firmly when the glass is placed on the front.A bigger wall for my collection...LOL, I could do the whole house1 I have over 100 Glories and about 30 researched whith about 15 of those framed. I think my wife would have somethign to say if I started putting awards all over the house Brendan
ANZAC Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 Very professional!! Did you frame them yourself?Yes Paul, I framed them myself. My wife being into scrapbooking I can use some of her crafty stuff to get the look right.CheersBrendan
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Absolutely spectacular. For some time now I have thought these Glory medals are the best research possibilty out there, all nations included. If I could pick up 100 of then I would do it right away.bestChris

ANZAC Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 Thankyou all for your comments. I'll take a close up of a couple this weekend.Sadly I have had to taken down 6 other researched Glories due to 'she who must be obeyed', it seems the lounge room is supposed to be for more refined things and some renovations Brendan
