hucks216 Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Trying to identify this signature to a Luftwaffe Oberst. According to the 1938 & 1939 Stellenbesetzung the position was held by the Luftwaffe. Would he have been promoted to General rank before possible mid-war retirement or found employment through to 1945? Holds the position as Kommandeur Wehrbezirkskommando Dresden I. Can't figure out if the first letter is S or P or something else and whether it is Pappe, Poppe, Sappe, Soppe or the name even ends with L?
