mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Here is my JMME offering, in Tombak.Mark[attachmentid=28344]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 JMME reverse. Hardware looks very Junckerish (that's a new word)!Mark[attachmentid=28345]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 And a not so often seen a minty BSW.Mark[attachmentid=28348]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 With the cloverleaf from Wien.Mark[attachmentid=28350]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 And one of my first Luft badges. A nickel silver Juncker.Mark[attachmentid=28352]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Unfortunately, some jerk scratched the reverse checking for solid gold and silver..... Mark[attachmentid=28354]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The Osang is is nice addition.Mark[attachmentid=28356]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The reverse hardware is neatly assembled for a zinker!Mark[attachmentid=28357]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 And the textbook reverse.Mark[attachmentid=28360]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The unmistakable Assmann eagle.Mark[attachmentid=28361]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The rivets have been tapped down once or twice. I think that long tail kept snagging on the pocket, or on the parachute harness.Mark[attachmentid=28362]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Another late war Assmann. I wish the eagle on this example was more 'giltier'. Some examples posted earlier by other members are killers!Mark[attachmentid=28363]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Assmann double marked 'A' & L/64. Faintly seen is the '1' on the wreath, as are the injection molding points.Mark[attachmentid=28364]
mmiller Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 (edited) And here is the Deumer. I guess that this is a 2nd pattern?Mark[attachmentid=28365] Edited February 20, 2006 by mmiller

Richard Gordon Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Mark, your list of great examples seems never ending! I just picked up a case for my Deumer. So here's my 2 FJ together at home.
mmiller Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Rich,Those badges look beautiful, nestled all snug in the cases!Mark
J Temple-West Posted March 18, 2006 Author Posted March 18, 2006 Very nice, Rich... Here's a bit of graphics showing my flock. Only two are cased. Those FJ cases are harder to find than the badges, these days!
Richard Gordon Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 JohnThat's a great idea for a display . You should implement it!Rich
ERIC Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Hi Guys, Here's my latest addition to my Para Badge family - an early 1st Pattern Juncker belonging to a Fallschirmj?ger of Rgt. Hermann G?ring. The rest of his grouping I have posted in the Collectors Showcase, along with the Document for this man, numbered 43 and dated 14 Dezember 1936! Being instituted on November 5 of the same year, this Para Badge HAS to be the earliest version produced by Juncker!ERIC [attachmentid=31993]
PKeating Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 What a lovely badge, Eric! Interesting to see that Juncker sourced the eagle for this badge from Assmann. One sees this kind of thing from time to time. P
Stogieman Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Nice clear, clean scans/photos in this thread. What are you guys using for equipment?
J Temple-West Posted March 25, 2006 Author Posted March 25, 2006 Hi Eric,Well, well... I know this bade! Prime example, me old matey. Has N.H given up collecting? What a lovely badge, Eric! Interesting to see that Juncker sourced the eagle for this badge from Assmann. One sees this kind of thing from time to time. PA look at a side by side comparison wiil show that this is not an Assmann bird, but is fact pure Juncker. Imo both firms, working from the designers artwork, produced a very similar bird for their 1st pattern examples. Juncker then went on to produce their 2nd pattern and Assmann retained the same eagle throughtout.
