Jock Auld Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Do you think he took his boots as well or are the Russians very similar to the Germans? Jock
Alex K Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Interesting photo's I thought that the Soviet authorities took a dim view of their soldiers with "Nazi" memorabilia, as it was looked on as somehow admiring the enemy, now boots, yes I believe they were a very popular acquisition, since the average soviet boot, for ordinary ranks weren't that good. attached an image, these surely are German officer pattern. Maybe they should have taken the conveniently placed medal bar also Alex K
JapanX Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Maybe they should have taken the conveniently placed medal bar also Soviet soldiers prefer imperial german awards in gold as trophies
JapanX Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 Who needs this tombak and buntmetall when you can get yourself nice Wagner in gold
Mathomhaus Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) It's not just photos where Soviet soldiers show up with IIIR daggers!Regards Edited September 4, 2015 by Mathomhaus
