Prussia Prussian medal bar

Hello everyone.I ask to express the opinion about this medal bar.If I am not mistaken it a prussian officer medal bar.Why then Mecklenburg-Schwerin cross is ahead of the Prussian awards?Your opinion on originality?Thanks.Alexander.

I am not sure why they are mounted in that order but with the ribbon bars it looks very convincing indeed!!

Hello Alexander,

the order of mounting the medals is right.

First the military awarded medals and then the civilian once.

The bar is post-1934, so Prussian precedence rules wouldn't apply, although many veterans still followed them. Under precedence rules in the Third Reich, peacetime awards all came after the Honor Cross for Combatants.

for me one of the last version of the DA25

so it could be awarded till after the war (~ 1920)
