Paul R
That is an one of a kind collection. Did the Germans really use these to make field wear Knights Crosses?
Chris Boonzaier
Did the Germans really use these to make field wear Knights Crosses? I think that theory has been buried
Paul R
I remembered it being bounced around a few years ago. I did not see how it ended. Great to see that there was final resolution.
Robin Lumsden
Nice! Mine is in here, somewhere. I seem to recall that those 'in the know' identified the unmarked Uebergrosse maker as Frank & Reif.
Stuka f
Super! I am not that focused on EK's, but I got one. On page 74 and 75 of the book I ordered, regarding the collection.
saschaw
Did the Germans really use these to make field wear Knights Crosses? For field made Iron Crosses, EK2 were used - in general those handy. That might also have been an oversized crosses - but not necessarily. Anyone who is in the need of a nice example might check my shop, I'm having one offered at the moment.
