    Hello,

About 35 years ago, when I was a young tank commander, I bought the following badge in a shop in Thun (Switzerland).

I bought it because it reminded me of my dauntless "predecessors" who were stuck in uncomfortable noisy tin cans full of grease and smoke.

The badge is plain silver and weighs 29 grams.

Please note: it looks slightly rosy on the pictures but this is a mere effect of the light. It is in fact more blueish.

It has no markings and I am not sure about its originality. I personally regard it as a copy.

    Could anyone confirm?

    Thanks

    Jean-Samuel Karlen

GDC would be the last forum I'd go to. WAF has several good threads on these.

They are a great forum for discussing daggers but lag behind others when it comes to badges etc....
