IrishGunner
Christophe, that's an impressive group in #31. I'm not familiar with the cross with the yellow/red/black ribbon (and what I assume is it's 1st Class counterpart). Which German State is this from? Deruelle
Hello, Thanks for your comment. This group is from Reuß and the near the EK2 is the Ehrenkreuz 3 Kl mit X from Reuß. On the right of the EK1 is the Reuß Kriegsverdienstkreuz Christophe
IrishGunner
I suspect your Reuß bravery pair must be a bit scarce to find... Thanks for sharing.

Dave Danner
The only pair I could find without an Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer. One broken sword hilt on the Bewährungsabzeichen, but otherwise nice: I suppose I could cheat and add a trio. Most likely a Bavarian lieutenant in the 4.Infanterie-Regiment:
Stogieman
Beautiful bars David, very nice indeed! I especially like the Brunswick pair!
ccj
Wonder thread fellas, I need to pull out the few pairs I have to share. That's the drawback of having in display cases.
avadski
On 2/21/2016 at 13:51, dond said: Here we go. This MVK is the first model (out of 3) in the production of Jacob Leser (a fairly rare piece). The nut holding the swords is either missing or was damaged and sort of repaired at some point in time. There is also a possibility that this cross was initially awarded without swords and they were only added later (Note that this is the only model which was handed out without swords - any other variation from this maker you find without swords got them removed by monkey fingers) Edited April 13, 2016 by avadski
