Kriegsmarine Admiral Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Hello, no one was able to help me on the Central & Eastern European States thread so I will try here. Can someone help me determine the class of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit from the last ribbon on this uniform? The uniform belonged to a German WW2 Vizeadmiral, Kurt von dem Borne. The device on the ribbon seems to be a crown and swords? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
922F Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Really difficult to determine; device appears generic for all grades

On the only photo of him I have, he is not yet wearing the ribbon of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit. On that photo he is a Konteradmiral. So he had to recieve it either as Konteradmiral or Vizeadmiral.
