Ribbon bar of Vizeadmiral Kurt von dem Borne

Hello, no one was able to help me on the Central & Eastern European States thread so I will try here.

Can someone help me determine the class of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit from the last ribbon on this uniform?

The uniform belonged to a German WW2 Vizeadmiral, Kurt von dem Borne.

The device on the ribbon seems to be a crown and swords?

Any help is appreciated.

I was told it could be the Commander Class, since Borne was a Vizeadmiral?

Depends when he was awarded it and his rank at that time.

On the only photo of him I have, he is not yet wearing the ribbon of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit. On that photo he is a Konteradmiral. So he had to recieve it either as Konteradmiral or Vizeadmiral.
