Baden Bravery

Hello, 

I would like to show the Medal Bar of Uffz. Reissfelder Karl, he was awarded the SMKFVM (Silberne Carl Friedrich Verdienstmedaille) for his shown Bravery in the Battle near Kemmel (Flanders) in early May 1918.

Wow, that’s a superb medal bar. I have a SMKFVM and have been looking for a similar bar for display.

Thanks for the replys.  I am still researching this soldier.  Untill now not known if he earned the EK1.

As far as i know are the Kriegsstammrollen of the RIR238 no longer in existance. But i can ne wrong offcoarse.

A beautifull Medal from a very Brave Soldier.

HI, unless I am wrong... i think there is a book with all the citations for this medal? So it should be possible to find out why he received it?
