Utgardloki
What do you think about ebay-sellers, who sell single pages out of albums, or even worse, cut it into pieces like this one. https://www.ebay.at/itm/40-FAB404-Foto-Zerschossener-TANK-53-sudl-Marcoing-Dezember-1917-ca8-4x5-8/265045694637?hash=item3db5f458ad:g:FfAAAOSwLitgEyl0
Alex K
Well, yes very annoying and pointlessly destructive, it is clear that their interest is in making as much money as is possible by auctioning/selling individually, not interested in collecting or history, very common I suspect, just like people who break up medal groups Edited February 10, 2021 by Alex K
BlackcowboyBS
Yes, it drives me crazy, no respect for history, all for the money. I hate it.
Deutschritter
Historical pictures like these do not belong to the "buyers", but to the "Allgemeinheit" ... that is my opinion. Put what you have out there for all to see, before the memory is lost forever ... just the way I see it and the way I do it.
Deruelle
Hi to be honest I hate to see someone destroying part of history to make a profit. I spend so many years and money to reunite items, medals and papers from same person to see that. I can't understand. We can do anything to avoid this. as it is my collection theme, I will try to reunite the album. Christophe
OvBacon
It is really sad but we know it will always happen when people can make more money breaking things apart instead of leaving them together.... Even pretty honorable sellers will sell medals from one person separately... or sell mini's separate from their big brothers. It sucks but all we can do is try to reunite things and tell the accurate story of its history.
