Bernd_W Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 Interesting report on Ingo Blass: https://wcstumpmilitaria.blogspot.com/2013/09/ingo-blass-omsa-connection.html
Stogieman Posted December 24, 2023 Author Posted December 24, 2023 Saw those!! Thanks for posting them. Pretty rare!
Stogieman Posted December 24, 2023 Author Posted December 24, 2023 I’m unsure as to authenticity, not my area but sold for $616!
Stogieman Posted December 26, 2023 Author Posted December 26, 2023 Nice NC EK2 bar sold today, opening bid was $500, don’t know the offer that won
VtwinVince Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Here is my unmarked Meybauer example from the estate of Leutnant Strey for comparison.

I thought it was real based on my memory of ones I used to own. This is what happens when you get old and lose your archives! I’m really glad I’m not in the market for flight badges anymore! Think I’ll stick with St. Henry for now!! Gee whiz!! Thanks Lew for your help!

Hello All, Please note that this case/Etui is a modern forgery. Original HHO cases did not look like this! Best regards,
VtwinVince Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Those Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha items are being discussed over at SDA, apparently they are fakes.
Stogieman Posted January 4 Author Posted January 4 Are we talking about the medals and Spange being copies? Or the orders?

lew Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) 4 hours ago, VtwinVince said: Yup, the arts and sciences stuff. Wow.. those pieces are then seriously dangerous. Is the SDA discussion conclusive? can you share the link? Look at the level of details they made, they must have found the original tooling of those rare medals. Edited January 4 by lew

lew Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Found this one in my photo archive, sold on eBay many years ago, don't remember how much it went for. Edited January 11 by lew
ostprussenmann_new Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Early 2000s one could find a lot of good stuff on Ebay. At one point I bought two napoleanic war medals that were Prussian for 85 Euros. One of them was a Silver Merit Medal. I wish instill had it, but I sold it because I was focused on something else.
91-old-inf-reg Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Here’s a very interesting non-combatants-combatants bar that just sold for what I think is a really reasonable price:
Stogieman Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 This little gem appears to have been missed by many, final bid was only $89.00
Stogieman Posted January 17 Author Posted January 17 Nice original Albert Order with case and document for $935
