ph3s Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Hi gents, I'm just trying to clarify for myself are there Albanian Partisan Stars 3 class made by MonDvor? Does anyone have seen or have one? If yes would you please share couple of photos.
Tim B Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 (edited) Based on the reference by Eric R. Schena, I think MonDvor only manufactured the 1st and 2nd Class awards that were made in the early higher quality metals. Some additional information that I've found out since last posting and will add here for those interested: The Order was instituted on 9 July 1945 to be awarded to officers of the People’s Army or Ministry of Internal Affairs for heroic acts and exemplary leadership in wartime. The first examples were made by Goznak, probably at the St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) Mint. The authorship of later models, such as this is not known for certain as they are unsigned but other Albanian Orders of the time were made by by PräWeMa (Präge Werkzeug Machinen) of Markneukirchen in eastern Germany, maker of many of the best East German (DDR) awards. Tim B Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Very nice! I'm hoping the prices eventually come down so I can add a couple more. The prices on these seem to go up and down a bit lately. Tim
itaca Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Hi comlete for beautiful pieces posted. But I wanted to make a clarification on the production dell'ortine Star partisan. in the text of "Erik Schena" available on-line says it was produced in Germany but this is not confirmed by other sources that today are considered more reliable. In these sources the production order is only IKOM Zagreb and USSR. I live in Albania and I have a friend who has several orders in gold, Albanians and very beautiful (I think Hero of Socialist Labour Hero Of People ,but very expensive ) .. I try to post the photo
itaca Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 Forgive me that I had not seen Erik Schena is also moderator of the forum .. I am an Italian collectors, and in our other environments is considered what I said above, if you can explain what these new texts, but consider that I can make mistakes and still is being Militaria Albanian knowledge on the part of us foreigners. .

seb16trs Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Hello, thse variation are made of solid silver for all classes, or bronze ?
Kallarati Heroik Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Based in the LAME BOOK, 1st class is made by solid gold, and another version by solid silver with gold plated. Based in the LAME BOOK, 2nd class is made by bronze and silver plated. In reality, some people say that is and another version of 2nd class made by SOLID SILVER, but I proof it in a JEWELRY SHOP and it is made by bronze with a VERY STRONG SILVER LAYERED. Based in the LAME BOOK, 3rd class is made by bronze. HAPPY COLLECTING MY FRIEND.
seb16trs Posted October 2, 2016 Posted October 2, 2016 Nice! I never saw on the internet any document for partisan stars... Must we suppose the doc is really scarce and hence the vast majority of proposed stars for sale are non-attributed (old stock from State mint) pieces?
Kallarati Heroik Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I never seen any document for Partisan Star.
Tim B Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I don't think we've ever discussed these unmarked red cases but, are they actually legit award cases for the various classes of the Partisan Star?
Paul R Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I did not know people could be awarded more than one! Are they expensive to collect?
seb16trs Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 On 29/09/2016 at 12:14, Kallarati Heroik said: Hello gentlemen, please confirm my analysis: the 1st and 2nd classes shown here (and in post #29 from Ruiz) are soviet versions, with really thick and very smooth finish, and the bronze one is an albanian version with a slimer enamel and a more porous aspect. Am I correct?
Kallarati Heroik Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 The bronze one is 3rd class. It is produced by IKOM - ZAGREB. Salut
