    1. Do you think the fourth ribbon is for Anhalt Albert the Bear or Friedrich Cross? The backing is dark blue.
    2. Hello All, I tried to find the answer to my question on the Internet by no luck. Does anyone know the amount of silver in the Imperial Service Medal? Thanks in advance.
    3. You guys are the best! I bookmarked the above page and clicked supplements and was able to find the guy. Thank you some much. Now it is off to buy a few!
    4. I am banging my head against the wall with using the Gazette to research names on the Imperial Service Medal. I found one named to James Edward Danks: VINTAGE IMPERIAL SERVICE MEDAL AND AWARD LETTER. | eBay I go to the main page of the Gazette and click all notices then do a text search on the name and nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
    5. Hi All, I picked up two case Imperial Service Medals with cases at the Show of Shows this past weekend. While I don't collect British awards these jumped out at me due to the fine case. Both are of the Queen Elizabeth II period and I was told these are the earlier version. Both are named; Stanley Eason and Edward Henry Wingrave. I was told these maybe reseachable. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
    6. The award rolls for the Sax-Albert and the Baden Lion are available. However the award rolls for the Albert the Bear are not and the HH which make an ID difficult.
    7. After I did this post I did find the Anglo Boer War webpage and did find a C. Nicholson with the above information and service number. Interesting that he did have the KSA. It would be nice to find that. Mike what is the source of the above? Also the Note above is: QSA Clasps: CC,OFS,T,SA01 What is SA01? Thanks
    8. I just picked up a QSA numbered 6651 and named to Pte C. Nicholson S. Wales Border. It has three bars, Transvaal, Orange Free State and Capy Colony. I purchased it to go with a miniature with the same bars. I do not collect British medals and do not know anything about researching the names. I would post a photo but my skills are lacking. I did some reading about the South Wales Border unit. Is the possible to learn more about Private Nicholson? Thanks in advance.
