    Hi everybody,

I want to start a new topic to show the pin back cross on photos( not the EK1). Don't hesitate to show yours.

First one, the Bavarian Officer cross with X

On that last photo I have 3 questions

    A) would this be an adjudant-badge worn by Fl?gel- and or Generaladjudante?

    B) Would anyone have a clear close-up photo of such a badge?

    C) who is the officer depicted?

    Thanks!

    David

Please find a close up of the Adjudant Badge

    Hello everyone:

I am probably overstating the obvious, but please note that the Adjutant's Badge worn by Deruelle's Officer is that of the Kingdom of W?rttemberg (not Prussia).

    Thanks,

This image is already posted in the Mecklenburg-Strelitz thread at http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=4663&st=20 but I am adding it here to keep the pin-backs all together.

Leutnant der Reserve Rau of Mecklenburgisches Grenadier-Reiment Nr. 89 can be seen proudly wearing his EK1 and Mecklenburg-Schwerin MVK 1st class on the left, and an as yet unidentified fellow officer, probably of II. Bataillon, is shown wearing his EK1 and Mecklenburg-Strelitz 1st class cross on the right. The picture was probably taken during a parade held behind the Somme front in the second half of 1916.
