GdC26 Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Gents, I took some pics of Wilhelm II?s Paradefangschnur as Grossadmiral of the Imperial German Navy. Hope you enjoy them. Regards, Sandro
Deruelle Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Hi, Very very nice item. For me it's the first time I see such item. It is possible for you to show the uniform please.RegardsChristophe
GdC26 Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Hi Christophe, No problem, and thanks for your kind words. Enjoy, Sandro
GdC26 Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 This is yours? Yes, Paul, both items are mine. The tunic is that of Prinz Heinrich, brother of Wilhelm II, as a la Suite of the Hessian 25th Feldartillerieregement. Rank is that of a Generaloberst im Range eines Generalfeldmarschalls. Regards, Sandro
Paul R Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Sandro,I am in shock!! Thank you for sharing this with us, here!
GdC26 Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 (edited) Many thanks for your kind words, Paul. The grouping is quite complete, with the daily wear and sash belts, the bandoleer and Kartuschkasten, the cap (with cypher), epaulettes, and boxes for the epaulettes and sash belt. If anyone has a pic of Prinz Heinrich wearing this tunic, I will be interested !Incidentally, the tunic on the left is the early style prussian General?s tunic, the one on the right the later style.....Regards, Sandro Edited July 14, 2007 by GdC26
