    1. Terrible quality, but given the rarity of the print version..... Very early... and a Preliminary doc as well! I seem to remember these were big A4 ones...
    2. Here is a special print for the 18th army, the man was in a Schlacht Company (Butcher)
    3. If you are an old hand on this thread.... go back and see what has been added to the first 3 pages ;-)
    4. Are you sure? I have a Bavarian document group with a man who got the prussian war service cross ? The first guy here (20th Bavarian Inf Regt) got the EK, MVK3 and Prussian war merit cross http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/56924-verdienstkreuz-fr-kriegshilfe-documents/ All the best Chris
    5. Well, if Chip thinks the straps are OK, I thnk the price of the straps and tunic would be fine... but how would someone value Rohr Straps? would maybe bring a grand at least....
    6. That is a good observation! So the crown for a leiber, the star for a guardsman.... The Bows for a Bowman? :-)
    7. I am guessing only the wearers could have answered that. I would agree the star may be an ex guardsman, proud of his unit, the Bows... well, maybe a decorative kinda guy, I dont think anyone can answer those 100 years later. best Chris
    8. It had Pionier Leutnant Boards without a number on them, but I have no idea if they are original to the piece...
    9. Here is my Pionier... http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/38964-1918-offensive-pionier-offizier/?hl=%2Bpionier+%2Bofficer#entry360999
