    1. I always find it interesting when members can pair things up like this. Nice bars Gentlemen
    2. here's the Bavarian bar I was speaking of. No clue why the crown is on this ribbon, and the only time I have ever seen this device used on a bar!
    3. I find it interesting with the Albert Order in first place, but I don't know what most of the other ribbons denote. The Weltkrieg bar from Saxony on the end looks to me to be an original and there's precious few of those about. But why it would be mounted there is beyond me. I've seen a few crowns on ribbons where it made no sense, I'm looking for the picture of an NC EK2 bar I have to a Bavarian that has a crown on the St. Michael ribbon! Anyone?
    4. This bar I believe originally came from the late Dave Simmons' collection. David's Collection went to Rick Lundstrom and this bar eventually found its' way to me. I find it to be a complete riddle. perhaps Daniel and others can come up with a reasonable explanation for what the awards are and why the bar is mounted like this with these devices. Rick never mentioned the bar to me and i never saw it posted or otherwise until after his passing.
    5. I do agree that there are green cases out there for the PLM enlisted. But I don;'t think they were issued in the red cases. the reddish-maroon cases were used for the MEZ1, they also came in black cases
    6. That picture shown in the eMedals.com post was from my collection originally..... it did not come with a cross. My experience is that the MEZ1 came in the red case and the PLM enlisted came in the black case.
    7. I still get a chuckle when I see stuff from my photo collection surface. I forgot about this book that RR was also involved with. The cover photo on the right was mine once upon a time.
    8. Rick research could not ID the recipient, this one fell into what he used to call "ugly" bars.... everything that has passed through my hands prior to being sold was vetted by RR. One thing I learned quickly was if he felt it was bad, it got tossed into the bin. I cannot remember what 3 and 4 were, sorry, it's been a long, long time. This bar was originally sold about 8 years ago. It came from Germany to me, off to California, that entire collection came back to me and was resold about a year ago with Mike taking a good portion of the collection. Any bar being sold by Mike currently passed through both my and RR's hands, Hopefully this helps a bit.
    9. This one was always one of my favorites. The solo cased SHM had a custom-made case to hold the bar
