I bet if we say they are good we would see more of them pop up. I believe these are older fakes. Perhaps even post WW2 replacement pieces. The quality is just not there for a German made piece from the interwar years. Pin set ups were made in huge batches. Companies are still using leftover stock in some cases. We discussed this before over on WAF. Heck, after the war several dealers went around to wartime manufacturers and bought up existing stocks. I for one will not talk myself into believing it is a good one. Just because it is the only one you've seen doesn't make it good.

The girl on the left got ripped off. All she got was the EK2. I wonder how the other one rated the EK1....

Perhaps we won't find any answers..... I'd love to see the other "control" marks found on this style of EK1.
