    1. I recently picked up this photo of three early NSDAP Political Leader brownshirts. All three were also members of the NSBO. Cheers, Larry
    2. Hi Jock, A.V.T. = Art. Verm. Tr Artillerievermessungstrupp or Artillery Survey Detachment. See: http://usacac.army.mil/cac2/cgsc/carl/wwIIspec/number12.pdf Cheers, Larry
    3. When I bought this photo the cap tally was described as "Werftstammabteilung." On close inspection I am not so sure. Was there such a tally? There does seem to be an "ft" just before stammabteilung but it is inconclusive. Cheers, Larry
    4. Recent addition to my collection. Langermass is a street in Cologne. Was there a bunker there? They wear cloth LSW caps, sanitats and SHD arm bands. Some of their belt buckles look to be unstamped. Cheers, Larry
    5. Members of Flak Rgt. 11 share a joke. Obergefreiter Haschem is at right. Cheers, Larry
    6. Thanks guys, much appreciated. Here is a photo showing reversible quilted winter jackets being worn. Obergefreiter Arthur Haschem is in the middle. Photo taken at Orel. Cheers, Larry
    7. Thanks Guys, much appreciated. Here is another series from the album. Caption says: "Vormarsch Mingsts - Briangst." I guess that translates as "Advance from Minsk to Briansk." Photos show scenes of recent fighting with burning villages, villages being bombed, vehicles and troops of Flak Rgt. 11 waiting until bombing is over before moving on. Cheers, Larry
    8. Hi, Just found this great site. Use the Search bar at top right. http://www.uniforminsignia.org/ Cheers, Larry
    9. Fantastic photos Odulf! Here are two more 2cm Flak 30 photos, both taken at Bolchov, 1942. Cheers, Larry
    10. Nice photo of a 2cm Flakvierlung 38. More from my Flak Rgt. 11 album. A 2cm Flak 30 emplacement. The city in the background is Bolchov. Cheers, Larry
    11. I agree. I believe the GD Cuff title was introduced in 1944 so late war portraits. It is possible that both men have had their cuff titles quickly sewn on before posing for the camera. Anyway, good clear photos of GD cuff titles and board cyphers are hard to find so congrats on a nice portrait. Cheers, Larry
    12. Hi Jock, Here is my portrait with hand-sewn cuff band. Cheers, Larry
    13. Thanks Paul. Here is another from my collection. I like the intimate pose. I think the numbers on his boards shows he served with Flak Rgt. 89. I will post the Beamte photos in another thread. Cheers, Larry
    14. Nice portraits Jock. Is the GD cuff band crudely hand-sewn on. I have a GD portrait which shows the soldier in almost exactly the same pose. His cuff band is also crudely sewn on. Cheers, Larry
    15. Very nice Flak wedding portrait. Nice Urkunde Odulf. Here is another from my collection. Cheers, Larry
    16. Thank you for the kind comments. I was lucky enough to purchase another photo of the couple from another source. Cheers, Larry
