    6. Nice photo. Morten. Odulf. Nice photo. Is he wearing a yellow on blue Kustenartillerie patch at the top with a pre-1940 red on blue Maschinenwaffenfuhrer (flak observer) patch on the bottom of his sleeve? Cheers, Larry
    7. Hi Paul, Here are two rare photos which don't come under any of your LW chapters, Both I would say belong in the "Auxiliary Formations of the Luftwaffe" chapter. Pic one: Luftwaffe Technische Nothilfe (TeNo). Pic two: Insignia is the wing for Fliegerisch Tatigen Angestellen der Luftwaffe. Most often they were civilian pilots and wireless operators who specialised in training and instruction. Functions were: Flugbetriebsleiter and Flugzeugfuhrer. They were active in the Luftdienstverband, a LW unit which was in charge of docking large flying boats. They cooperated closely with personnel of the Flugsicherungsschiffe. Personnel often came from commercial airlines such as Lufthansa. Cheers, Larry
    8. SS-Gebirgsjager Untersturmfuhrer with his father who is a KM official. Cheers, Larry
    9. Hi Morten, Not often seen M.v.D duty armbands. Very nice photo. Cheers, Larry
    10. Nice photos everyone. Schreiber (Clerical). Cheers, Larry Kustenartillerie. Cheers, Larry
    11. The first two letters are an early form of "SS" before the font was changed to the more familiar "SS" runes. Here are two SS Ausweis, one showing the earlier font. Cheers, Larry
    12. Thank you Morten. Hi GreyC, Thanks for your informative answer. I have looked on the net for crowns which match or are close to the crown on the end of the coffin. Haven't found an exact match yet but the Saxony crown is the closest. Whoever is being buried must have had close ties or been a part of the military to have had a military funeral. The presence of an altar boy would mean that the funeral was held in German territory? Then there is the white coffin. Most coffins I have seen from that period were not white. Cheers, Larry
    13. Adding a couple more photos to this thread. KM and Heer Chaplains. Cheers, Larry
    14. Incredible collection Morten. your Marineverwaltung collection is very nice. Here is my cloth Marineverwaltung collection including Verwaltungsbeamte patch for the Elevated Career. Cheers, Larry Another. cheers, Larry
    15. I agree, very nice indeed. Morten, is there any writing on the back of the Marineergangzungsabteilung portrait. Cheers, Larry
