    13. This Minesweeper citation To Matrosen Walter Täuber as well as his EK 2 citation and photo album arrived recently. Täuber served aboard Vorpostenboot V1306 - OTTO KROGMANN. V1306 was part of 13 Vorpostenflottille. It survived the war. Cheers, Larry
    14. A new album has arrived which once belonged to Matrosenobergefreiter Walter Täuber who served on a Vorpostenboot as part of 13 Vorpostenflottille. Täuber wears the post-1940 Unterwasserhorcher specialty patch on his lower left sleeve. Cheers, Larry

    16. Hi Paul, Here are two rare photos which don't come under any of your LW chapters, Both I would say belong in the "Auxiliary Formations of the Luftwaffe" chapter. Pic one: Luftwaffe Technische Nothilfe (TeNo). Pic two: Insignia is the wing for Fliegerisch Tatigen Angestellen der Luftwaffe. Most often they were civilian pilots and wireless operators who specialised in training and instruction. Functions were: Flugbetriebsleiter and Flugzeugfuhrer. They were active in the Luftdienstverband, a LW unit which was in charge of docking large flying boats. They cooperated closely with personnel of the Flugsicherungsschiffe. Personnel often came from commercial airlines such as Lufthansa. Cheers, Larry
