    1. The nicest maker of all for my money when it comes to '39's
    2. These really are beautifull pictures chaps! Dave, thos pic's should be censored as potential RK porn! Superb examples.
    3. Very nice Greg. Is that a jeweller type repair on the ring?
    4. This has perplexed me too Gordon. I have seen this on crosses with this screwback configuration before but have never bottomed it. Certainly in my opinion a deliberate marking. I've wondered if it's a quality control type mark?
    5. That's a lovely piece. There seems to be a few of the crosses with a kind of laquer on the back appearing lately. Very nice!
    6. Well done mate. Well worth all the searching and waiting I'm sure. Beauty!!
    7. Forty two quid?!!? That's almost pornographically cheap. Well done mate. Did you get it from unreasonablygulliblemilitaria.com/daftprice?
    8. That's an absolute peach Dave!! Nice case. That glass front is fabulous. I've not seen those attachments before.
    9. Yes, there was a strap as evidenced by the fact that the fabric is darker where the strap once was, although you can't see it from these pictures. Interesting that the wappen is the same design.
    10. Clearly 2 variations of a theme Rich. Yours has painted metalwork whereas mine has no traces of paint but the metal seems the same as that visible beneath the finish on yours The scarlet liner on yours looks superb whereas mine is black based with a coarse white upper lid lining. I have also seen these with the usual patriotic inscriptions on the inner lid. Nice piece Rich.!!
    11. This is the cross it came with. Original length of silk ribbon and ring stamped "G 800"
    12. Here's mine. This came with an 800 Godet marked EK2. I believeit to be an after market purchased case as suggested above. Sadly only lacking the strap from the spike to the rear of the helmet.
    13. John, lovely engraved piece. Very personal. Paul, like the Ghost Division avatar!
    14. I'd be very interested in seeing the book too. Keep us updated and welcome to the forum.
    15. That's a fine looking set mate. Lifted from the run of the mill "hoard" 26's with the carton. Love it. Congratulations.
    16. Great examples Dave, love the vaulting on the 800. 2 nice case variations too!
    17. It is annoyingly difficult trying to phhotograph these "laquers" isn't it? I just can't get a representative picture with my primitive means.
    18. Looks like an optical illusion! Do you have pictures of the back Jan?
    19. A very nice cross and case, nice EK facsimile on the lid. Square marked crosses are a really nicely made cross I find. Thanks for sharing.
    20. Hi Joe, it is simply marked 935 in the centre of the reverse. I bought it some years ago from a well known dealer. It was described as being unmarked but probably high silver content. I got it out of the bag and the first thing I saw was the content mark. One of those "Yeessss" moments as it cost very little. Somehow it's one of those pieces that froms the core of my collection. I don't have the means to amass a large collection so find myself buying and selling a lot and my collection is in a permanent state of flux. Somehow I just cannot part with this one and know I'd regret it if I ever did. Not that it's anything world-meltingly special it just has that something about it.
    21. Lovely piece, always made sweeter when you get them for a song. Thanks for posting it.
