    1. The Mongolian awards are quite intricate and attractive and appear to be well done.
    2. Thanks for sharing Paul, too bad about the removals but you still have a solid core collection.
    3. Recently the F-15 kill has been revised to "probable." It requires more confirmation.
    4. Impressive photos and medal bars. I dunno why but I think the persian lamb fez it too cool! I wonder how the twins would look in them?
    5. Not that I know of but I've asked Stogieman to add what he can. As I understand it the badge was awarded during 1918 and since the German Air Service had about an 80% casualty rate there could not have been a large number of post war private purchases.
    6. Well, Christophe, it looks like we've accounted for about 2% of the awards. Anyone else have one?
    7. ...and in living color the shoulder sleeve insignia looks like this. However, my all-time favorite VN Zippo is the one where on one side is the outline of country with various points of interest named and on the other the venerable Snoopy laying on the back of his doghouse. The inscription below reads: F--- It!
    8. I am not a big time Imperial Aviation collector but I do like a badge here and there to dress up a medal or ribbon bar display. I have been looking for a Prussian Air Gunner for some time and thanks to Stogieman and his network I now have one in nickel silver, unmarked and the maker is unknown at this point. I'm delighted because it has been a tough for me to find a "right" one.
    9. File the Seeadler photo under "Memorable Moments in the Ward Room. Thankfully no strawberries are visable.
    10. I would imagine it was worn just as a regular ribbon bar was worn but with taller loops sewn into the tunic and perhaps the loops would be more closely set so one side could be slid on and then backed off a little to hook the remaining end.
