    1. Good job, BJOW! The ole' "Smelly" in its different makers and configurations is an interesting and relatively inexpensive collectable.
    2. FW-190 and P-51 for fighters and just love Boeing's contribution to WWII the B-17 which could still fly after sustaining amazing battle damage...
    3. I'd like to see some pictures of those walls, Mark.
    4. Two unusual decoratons from Brunswick. War Merit Cross on a non-combatant ribbon and the House Order of Henry the Lion, Knight 2nd Class in silver. The hand painting of the cross arms and the center make it a truly one of a kind piece. No research potential but as I'm told by the sayer of soothes, "Sometimes pretty is enough!"
    5. This ribbon bar is attributed to Generalleutnant Karl Siegfried Go?rau and I need some help. Someone, desperately in need of professional help, chose to remove the last two ribbons on this bar for reasons known only to only to God. Genteel rehabilitation by the ribbon bar Kahunas have produced a pair of speculative additions from the Flower Wars period as being most likely. I need a photo of him wearing a ribbon bar during WWII to confirm the composition. HELP! Any help would be most appreciated.
    6. Green and gold are the branch colors for the Military Police. Ft. Gordon, GA used to be swathed in those colors!
    7. Interesting bar. I hope the research turns up something for you. Am I growing old and feeble or is that a type I spange on the EKII?
    8. This is Gossrau's rehabilitated ribbon bar with two good guesses on the end.
    9. I have a ribbon bar attributed to this Luftwaffe Generalleutnant but some truly crazed carbon based unit chose to remove the last two ribbons from the bar. I am in search of any picture of him wearing a ribbon bar in WWII to confirm what the last two ribbons really are. We suspect a pair of flower wars ribbons, one for the Austrian Anschluss and the other for the Sedetenland grab. Any help woudl be most appreciated. Rick Research is trying to determine if, during the course of active duty, he won any Benito Mussolini Lookalike Contests...

      Ash Tray

I remember that mark well. Very much sought after.
    11. Very nice work, Ralph, my efforts run toward railroading...never could outgrow electric trains...
    12. Marshall, those are magnificent pieces! I have a really small version on a ribbon bar that I will post. So small it is hard to detect the curve on the ends.
    13. Nice photo, Mike. I take it those troopers are armed with Mauser carbines? The book I got covers the history of the regiment from organization to 1913. I was outbid on the WWI history by a bid that was even more insane than my own. I had hoped for some information on his death in the action at Kutno. Here is a picture of the book I'm hunting. If anyone sees it please buy and I guarantee a handsome profit and a finder's fee.
    14. This is a trifle outside Imperial but I have two different award documents for the '39 EKII to the same sailor from two different headquarters dated within 10 days of each other covering his participation in the Narvik operation. So much for German efficiency... I framed 'em!
    15. Post that link in the Websites forum too.
