Dear members, I would like to collect any information about Hugo Meurer, especially his awards. Was he awarded the OK2 and the MMV? I also heard, that his medal bar is still existing. A photo of it would be great! Reason is this ribbon bar, which I could luckily acquire a few days ago. It came to me identified and I can confirm every award for Meurer except the OK2 and the MMV. All the Best, Nicolas

Hello, I could just acquire this nice ribbon bar with the Italian "Al Valore" medal. I think the fourth ribbon is the Lifesaving Medal and not the Schutzwallehrenzeichen, but I cannot say it for 100%. Any chance to ID this one? I had a look through a list with German "Al Valore" medal bearers, but could not find an exact match. I guess there were less Army/Navy members with the "Al Valore" medal than Luftwaffe members? All the best, Nicolas

I absolutely love this bar. Beautiful Godet! Thank you for showing! The oak leaf is a nice touch. As the Social Welfare Decoration was not exclusively awarded to people with a medical profession, it is hard to say. I can contribute this bar with another scarce Volkspflege device and possibly by Godet, aswell. Best regards, Nicolas

Hello there! I am looking for any information about Oberstleutnant Schmaler. He recieved the Prussian Observers Badge in WW1 amongst the War Merit Cross of Schaumburg-Lippe and EK2,EK1 and peaked at Oberstleutnant (Luftwaffe). Alive in April 1945. Sadly, I cannot find him in the Luftwaffe Career Summaries or anywhere else. Any help is very appreciated! All the Best, Nicolas His ribbon bar:

Good Afternoon, I have this ribbon bar for quite some time now and always thought about an ID. There weren't too many Luftwaffe Generals with the Lübeckisches Hanseatenkreuz. Although, it could have been a Staff Officer's bar aswell. Sadly, my own research was not successful yet. Due to the rough condition I cannout make out if the eagles are golden or silver ones. The second ribbon is the Mecklenburg War Merit Cross. Any help in this case would be very appreciated. Best regards, Nicolas
