Thanks, i have WW2 version in case that I may part with. I have a few Bulgarian, Romanian, and Polish decorations I may need to part with as I focus on Imperial German and foreign awards to German in WW1. -

King Ludwig was awarded and EK1 and before the end of the war Prinz Alfons was awarded the EK1 and I Dont think either was awarded the EK for bravery.

Thank you, I’ve seen a lower resolution of that photo. I’ve been searching for wartime photos but haven’t found any. However, I noticed the other day in a photo posted of generals a man who certainly resembles Hartz what do you think?

Nice having named items. It’s rare to be able to get much detail on ID’d items from my experience. I really like the Bavarian Bluse with the Borte. My favorite at the moment is the tunic. I’ve admired it since a fellow forum member showed it to me when he owned it.

I’m not sure what is sad about it. That’s a nice, rare, original tunic that was among other Bavarian uniforms for a GeneralLt. One was 1910, one pre ware blue drew uniform, and this Litewka. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get all but was lucky to get the litewka and later another generals uniform to another man.
