    1. This is the first time I have seen this medal in a bona fide group! You have my envy!!
    2. He is definitely LW Field Division. The outter piping is either black(Pioneer) or Red(Flak/Arty). You photo is one for the reference books. Not many piped Tab LW FD photos around.
    3. The button hole awards appear on my monitor to be: WW1 EK2 Sudatenlands Annexation They do not look like the KVK2 to me.
    4. Most definitely LW Field Divisions!! The outter piping and the shoulder strap Reg numbers(only seen on Flak and FD). I would LOVE to see this tunic in the flesh(while listening to the vet answer a few questions!). Definitely a Sudatenlands ribbon in the buttonhole! I bet that replacing a ribbonbar of that size for the addition of one ribbon would be a little expensive. Lots of commemorative medals there! I think that the ribbon on the bar was the Austrian Annexation, versus the Sudatenland Annexation.
    5. That is the ultimate TR awards group. I know that you are sad to see it go. I am sad to not have the money!
    6. Very interesting photo. This is one for the reference books. Nice find, Harvey!
    7. I agree. State Security Groupings are very rare in themselves. If you have the MMM number, it would not hurt to have it researched so that you may get a little information on the Man!
    8. Hi Christian, I can see where some members might take offense to this. There is no need for this type of comment.

    12. More history on the unit, from Lexikom: http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliede...rtillerieLW.htm This unit was a predecessor to a HG Flak unit!!! 13. In today, a 16 dollar Luftwaffe Secret Police collar tab for a Feldpolizeisekertar arrived! This tab as also used by the Post 02Nov1940 Air Traffic Control Officials(Meister) and by the LW Firefighting Officials(Brandmeister). These three branches were the only ones to have Officers in the "Medium Career Grade".
    14. I am looking for the initial owner of a jacket in the Suchdienst, who's unit was destroyed at Stalingrad. I was informed that only 36 or so people from this unit escaped. The odds are that the man named below did not. If someone has a copy of the Suchdienst Missing POWs I would be most appreciative if someone could look him up. Regards Paul
    15. I dont recognize the man, but he is a rather old looking Leutnant!
