      Now this is a very interesting man... I bet that he knew more detailed secrets than some of the battlefield Generals. The military would not function without the officials!!

      Hi Steve, It is great to see you about!! I do not have any experience with SS uniforms or insignia, but I from what experience I have with the Luftwaffe uniforms, I can find nothing wrong with the set in regard to construction, insignia, or application of insignia. Maybe some of the more experienced SS collectors can say something of a bit more benefit. Paul

      Nope... it is to hide carbon stainings from the exhaust (you can see the exhaust opening in the forward area of the black paint, a couple of feet above the waterline). We did that with our old '110s.

      This is a very good read! I wonder if all of these men survived the war? I like the part about the stretcher bearing getting the EK2 far carrying the wounded man back to friendly lines!
