    1. I think that this is a super focused collection. I have never seen such focus. How difficult was it to find these?
    2. From what I can see, this paint does not look like it has the right hue and is too flat. Also, it appears as if the decals were placed before the paint, as there is spray along the edges. Unless I am missing the boat(which is possible) decals were always placed after the paint job was complete. I dont see any manufacturing stamps in the rim. Also, the leather looks brand new(which does not mean much in itself). It does make a great display item.
    3. What rank would this person most likely be? NCO?
    4. I have never seen one like it. Most likely modified by a jeweler. Regardless, well worth the price IMHO. Great find.
    5. I would want some real proof. I am very very suspicious.
    6. The noncombattant medal has a most beautiful ribbon. Any ideas on the number of these awarded?
    7. It is an attractive looking medal. I want to know more about it too
    8. Hello Michael, Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. Here, doctors I've seen are of the Captain rank or above. Do you have any images of these slides with the medical emblem on them? Are they embroidered onto the field slides as well? Regards Paul
    9. Oh. That is a Combat Medic's badge. It is in it's subdued format(black). He should be wearing the pewter version on that uniform.
    10. Hi Gordon, the picture gets very big when you click on it. It is an US/German crossed flags pin (Friendship pin).
    11. Classic design, that is for sure. What year did they start putting the flag on the badge? What color is the appropriate beret? Green or red?
    12. Thanks for the comments. I would love to find a bullion medical officer beret. Are they difficult to find?
    13. Here is another set facilitated by my friend, Mattias. Thank you! A very nice set to a medical officer in the Bundeswehr army. I love the beret the most.
    14. Here is a nice representative grouping for Oberstabsgrefeiter Maik Mutschke. He is one of 29 people who've received this award so far. His citation for the award reads: Am 2. Thank you for my friend Matthias, who helped me gather this together. Mr. Mutschke is the man on the far right of this photo. I think that I want to start assembling/collecting these groups as they are greatly contributing to the war of terror.
    15. That is a sweet set up. How long have you had this uniform?
    16. I think that your cap is a very nice specimen. I would not clean anything. Thank you for sharing.
    17. It is a beautiful set! I have always loved it. Thank you for sharing it. I am glad to see it went to a loving home.
    18. Badge of Honor 1.525M with document awarded 3 JUL 86 to Abulladjon Jamalitdinov. At least I found the name. :-) Thanks Dave! I would like to know about their ceremonies as well. Also, what type of role did they fill in the Olympic games to qualify for the order? Was a truly a freebie give out order, or did they perform some significant roles?
    19. I just received this nice documented BoH. Nothing too special, with the exception that this man's efforts contributed to the Soviet government in a manner which prompted the award. Can anyone please translate the person's name? Are there any known decrees that match this date that could provide some possibility on what it was awarded for?
