    1. I just do not like the eagles on the last set you posted. Maybe they are original current issue?
    2. Here are the tunic and beret. The tunic does not have the provision for attaching rank, as you can see. Was rank sewn onto the sleeve somehow?
    3. Thanks for posting those insignia. I did not know that they added military specialty devices onto the chest straps. What years did this happen? Did Officers do this, or was it also the norm for enlisted and NCOs? How many different specialty marks did the Serbian Army use? Do you have a medical example? The beret badges are awesome. I was able to find a Senior NCO version. I am building a Serbian War period uniform. So far, I have a winter field coat with liner, a nice patched M93 camoflage uniform, and beret with officer badge(Which I am replacing with the NCO beret badge.
    4. I like what I see in the cabinet level slides. I have never seen embroidery or reverse assembly as presented on the generals slides. I notice the complete lack of a chest shield on the eagles. I will ask a more exprienced hand to chime in.
    5. Yes, that was the answer I was looking for. Did this order replace the Order of Lenin?
    6. The field Marshal slides are cool, but I do not know if they are the real deal or not. I have never seen that style of embroidery on an Iraqi board. I have never seen any confirmed originals of this Saddam Level rank slide, so I do know if it is real or not. It is still cool and would love to have a set myself. The cabinet level boards are very tough... but I like what I see so far. Can you please post a close up of the flag portion of both? There are differences I have noticed between the trident repros and the originals.
    7. I have not either. These are very interesting styles. I like the tan ones.
    8. I wish I still had mine... It is a victim to one of the many moves made over the past 20 years.
    9. Great stuff. It is interesting to see the Krag rifle! Also, that motorcycle photo is awesome.
    10. The Wachbatallion tunic is the same one that is available at the local military surpus shop, sans shoulder boards and awards. How much is a reasonable price for such a tunic?
    11. Thank you for that. I am building a 1995 field uniform and want to have an accurate set. Thank you very much. I very much appreciate the detailed explanation.
    12. Thank you all for your comments. Is there a listing of awards presented to the crewmembers?
    13. Thank you very much. What time period were these insignia used? The insignia on my left(in my picture) are upside down? Did they both use the NCO beret badge, or did they use the Enlisted beret badge? For some reason, the officer beret badges are very common, whereas the NCO versions are very rare. Were there not many NCOs?
    14. Thanks Drago! Welcome to the GMIC!
    15. I would love to find one!! Where do you all search and what method do you all use?
