I was thinking the same thing. Another issue that bothers me is that the ribbon bar has a centenial medal(awarded in 1901). Is it possible to have a line officer that would be at least 60 something years old?

What year(approx) did he receive the award? How were TR era awards presented after the war? Where the awards denazified or were they just pulled from old stock? Did any of you see his actual RK?

Yep... a probational status- officer candidate is the best term, I guess. He would wear the officer style collar tabs, eagle, and headgear. -
120 dollars for the Austria Annexation and 190 for the Sudatenland with Praque clasp. Those are good starting prices, in my opinion.

Thanks man! It is well used. The medical emblem is bent where a Y-strap would have gone over it... That is my theory anyway! LOL -

This baby just came in today. I mainly collect LW, but I love medical services from all branches. This is an Oberfeldwebel ranked medical officer candidate in the Heer.

I do not collect SS, but I am not liking the materials or the construction when I compare it to what I know about WW2 style tress and chevrons.

Goes to show that a grouping does not need to have a valor award in order to be amazing! I love those documents. I have never seen the service citation before. You should find some way to stabilize it before it starts falling apart.
