    1. Thank you for sharing these with us. How many Albanians were there back then?
    2. I do not see a photo... Can you please repost it?
    3. Great collection of cords Scott!!! Are there any others you know of that are missing from the collection?
    4. That is beyond cool! I wonder if there are any of his original ribbon bars still around, with the two Soviet Orders? I bet that he quietly put them away during the Cold War. I bet a book/movie could be easily done on his adventures!
    5. I do not like the fake patina/corrosion either. I am sorry...
    6. The numbers look like they were written in the orders book by the same hand/pen. Is this OK?
    7. Great stuff!! Even the civilian labor award has military ties. I know that he would have received the victory medal as well. I wonder what other service/campaign medals he would have had?
    8. Wow! Talk about young! In the grand order of things, isn't the ORS typically awarded before the OPW2?
    9. Very nice!! Would he have been eligible for the Battle of Lake Khasan badge as well?
    10. Thanks for posting this set Dan! Does anyone know the highest number of bravery medals received by a single person?
    11. Another great Order. Is there a citation/summary of deeds with this one? I bet that it will be interesting!
    12. Nice grouping! I am surprised to see that he does not have a ORB of Labor as well. Wasnt that usually the first labor order that is typically presented
    13. I am no expert either, but I thought that the Volksturm used the black SS style tabs.
    14. That is one heck of a bar. I would love to see his mounted medals! How much is the set(Just curious)?
    15. Now that is a cool piece in it's own right! Now which number the the extra one? One of the 1s?
    16. Were such high medals normally engraved with the awardee's name and date?
    17. An Iron Cross can belong to anyone for any deed. In most cases, the history is lost. Not the case with Soviet Orders. It is amazing how research can bring these medals, quite literally, to life! I feel that you got the better end of the trade. I have never seen an ORB for an enlisted man before. Very nice and desireable!!
    18. Rick, I am speechless!! (coming from someone who has never even held a DKiG). Hard to believe that those medals equal a house!!!
    19. Congrats Micha! How many LS helmets do you have now? Do you have any cloth insignia as well?
