    1. Nice finds! I assume the FLL clasps are umarked; how about the Funk & Brüninghaus and Juncker clasps? If so, can you please show photos of the marks?
    2. Wow - really well done. Thanks for sharing the photos.
    3. Very nice photos - thanks for sharing them!
    4. Another nice one. FLL has a very bold eagle design with nice details.
    5. I've not seen an FLL RO/AG before - this one is stunning!
    6. I was going to ask if one could earn more than one Hansa cross, but the above ribbon bar answered it for me.
    7. Wow -- what a beautiful trio! Forgive me for asking Posper, but what the heck is your avitar about? It's downright creepy... :ninja:
    8. Anyone out there have information on a Luftwaffe NCO named Kurt Speck? He was one of a hundred or so Legion Condor members to earn the Spanish Medalla Militar(documented), and Spanish Cross in Gold (assumed). I believe he may have also earned the Austrian Annexation Medal. However, he's not on any Knight's Cross or German Cross list that I could find. My German language skills are not proficient enough to effectively use the German War Graves Commission website (http://www.volksbund.de/graebersuche/content_suche.asp) If anyone has info on Kurt Speck, or has the time and ability to search the above site for his possible grave site and service info, I'd be much abliged. Many thanks!
    9. A wonderful collection! Would love to see close-ups of the uniform insignia, wings, patches etc...
    10. Period photos indicate there was a bit of turmoil as the DLV morphed into the Luftwaffe in 1935-36: LW members (officer & enlisted) wearing DLV belt buckles, DLV hats, etc. Who knows, Harrier's visor may have started life as a DLV cap (?)
    11. It's an Army sport shirt eagle - for the exercise kit. Quite common; 'collector value' perhaps US$20?
    12. Thank you Jacques. It matched an old, old photo of a silver L/21 in my files, but I wasn't sure if was still thought to be authentic or not. The owner was worried about the pin, which looks a bit like a Floch EK1. However, as you said, this cross retains the details of an original L/21.
    13. Facinating study Gordon - thank you. Personally, I find the Juncker Eagle the 'strongest' and most visually pleasing. (Your lizard looks like it can't wait to pounce on each one!)
    14. Posting for a friend this Foerster & Barth Gold Spanish Cross w/Swords, marked L/21 on the pin. All comments regarding authenticity welcome. Thanks!
    15. Nice looking crosses Tim.
