First one looks like a good period award piece, the others I wouldn't touch.

I will try and get a close-up of the marks, which are somewhat unusual.

Edit: looks like this guy made it to Generalleutnant, although he is described as a pilot.

Here is the reverse.

This came in a group of items on a 'buy it now' offer on ebay, just before Christmas. It is the Bavarian observer badge of Oberleutnant (later Luftwaffe Oberst) Maximilian Kieffer. It has seen some action, as the pin has been re-soldered and it looks like the enamel badge has been replaced as well. It came in the standard burgundy case from Carl Poellath. The maker's mark is interesting: Carl Poellath Schrobenh. Silber Note that the recipient's name is scratched into the reverse.

I looked at this one too, and couldn't decide if it was legit or not. I'm leaning towards genuine.

I like bars with only WW1 era or earlier awards on them. Having said that, I just got a bar with the Treudienst, Hindy, Hungary and Bulgaria.
