    1. I agree, average junk, so send it over to me....Just kidding, that is a really fine specimen.
    2. I was watching that one closely. I guess what really made it was the Awaloff connection. Great grouping.
    3. Christophe, could we see a close-up of his orders bar? Also, what badge is that next to his EK1?
    4. Pretty spectacular piece. Looks like this one might have come from the English royal family?
    5. Another Spitzenstueck, Rudi. You must have the best collection of these anywhere.
    6. Great picture, Christophe. If it stumped Alex, I'm not even going to try.
    7. Matt, I had a look at this one, but for the same reasons reject it. I find the order of precedence weird, as well as the combination of awards, not to mention the new looking ribbons.
    8. Great photo. Interesting that he has a St. Henry, but no EK1. I just got a pinback Kriegsverdienstkreuz of Lippe, which is identical to the Honor Cross, but without the motto. I'm looking for a photo of this in wear.
    9. Very nice. Coincidentally, I just got one of these in yesterday, but missing the ribbon.
    10. As usual, some exceptional items on display here. Komtur, I have never seen the mini of the Silver Wedding badge before, outstanding.
    11. These are my favorite Saxon orders, very nice. And that officer's spange is truly incredible. BTW I think I saw the urkunde on ebay?
    12. It does get quite confusing, as I also have a Patent from 1794 for Port-Epee Faehnrich Christoph von Watter. :speechless:
    13. I've managed to figure out that this guy was born in 1775 in Stargard, and was appointed Oberst in 1815, post-Waterloo. It would be nice to find out if he took part in that action.
    14. I have a Patent issued to a Carl Christian von Watter, appointing him as a Second-Lieutenant in the Unruh'schen Infanterie Regiment in 1797. I believe he died in the 1830's, but if anyone has more information on this fellow, it would be much appreciated.
