    1. Naturally. This is his Star of India full size set (circa 1911).
    2. This photo was made somewere around April-May 1931. August 1926.
    3. Although per se this is an estonian badge it was also issued (after May of 1928) to the officers of the 2nd Grochow Uhlan Regiment https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2nd_Grochow_Uhlan_Regiment The original badge looks like this one.
    4. Looks nice. I have sets in my database of second type from as early as 1972. No miniatures of breast stars in sight. Only standart ribbon bar and rosette. So it looks like unofficial privately ordered piece.
    5. Indeed, british St.Anna miniatures are pretty close to the french. So it`s practically impossible to identified the manufacturer without marks (or without group).
    6. The nearest relative. 16 mm in gold. Uknown manufacturer.
    7. Most likely this mini of british origin. It looks like originally it had swords. Something like that
    8. That would be very strange since all cases that I`ve seen (or own) have gold kanji. No doubt about it Best, Nick
    9. This mini was made by Chobillon, Paris.
    10. Still a nice and pretty rare case for the 4th class of rising sun order. Guy, are these kanji in silver? From this angle they look like a gold ones.
    11. This is not "II" of course but "I". Very weirdly and very fakely executed "I", I must add.
    12. This is not the name of the organization but name of the badge /Sekitoku shō/. 積徳章 - stacked/accumulated virtue badge 日本顕彰会 /Nihon kenshō-kai/ - Japan honoring association P.S. Photo of reverse of the badge wouldn`t hurt so others can use this thread as reference. And we gonna need better quality photos of inscriptions next time
    13. This version of the badge was introduced in 1960s. Сould you tell me the source of this info? For some unknown reason you ignored this question in the old thread.
    14. Fire brigade. 永年勤続功労章 - long distinguished service badge Pretty common badge.
    15. Irkutsk https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Иркутск Military Tribunal of 18th corps https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/18-й_стрелковый_корпус
    16. Case is original to the badge. Same story with the pin. As per today the manufacture of this variation is unknown to me. Badges in black lacquer cases were manufactured by Naigai Medal Co., Tokyo.
    17. Unfortunately this is a modern chinese fantasy fake.
    18. Made by Kobayashi lacquer shop, Tokyo. Best, Nick
    19. 東京消防褒賞 - Tokyo fire fighting service award 平成九年度 - 1997 Document for this badge. Way of wearing.
