    1. Is this ribbon bar not with Alan from NZ? Either way, glad to hear that you gents have found the original wearer. Best wishes Matt
    2. Certainly Lambert, here it is. This ribbon bar belonged to a Luftwaffe Oberst. Best wishes Matt
    3. That is a stunning group! I am curious as to why there are two Serbian ribbons on the ribbon bar. Would one be for a lower grade awarded before the higher grade? Best wishes Matt
    4. Dear Chris, Thank you for posting. Has the buyer been made aware of the concerns raised in this thread? Best wishes Matt
    5. Thank you Roman. I was relying on the description given. Is the ribbon the correct one for that cross? Best wishes Matt
    6. Gentlemen, I came across this medal bar recently. The last medal is listed as an Austrian Field Artillery Cross. I note that it is on what appears to be 1939 Iron Cross ribbon. I thought this to be of interest so sharing it here. Best wishes Matt
    7. Gentlemen, I had this in my eBay watch list but was not at my computer when the auction ended. My attention was drew to is as it resembled the Hamburg Lifesaving Medal ribbon but it is not that. I have no idea what the ribbon is. Does anyone recognise it? I think it is something foreign or maybe something post 1945. Best wishes Matt
    8. Thank you both for taking a look. This item was brought to my attention on WAF e-stand. I don't frequent the site but some collector friends let me know if medal or ribbon bars with Hansa Crosses come up for sale. I am told the ribbon bar is now on hold.... Maybe the buyer will see this thread. Best wishes Matt
    9. Matthew thank you for your reply and thank you Dave for clarifying. Regarding the medal bar- I will leave it I think.Thank you all for your advice. It is appreciated. Best wishes Matt
    10. Gentlemen, Here is a ribbon bar I was looking at last night. I have four questions: -Shouldn't the Württemberg ribbon have a device for Officer's decoration(4th ribbon)? -Shouldn't the Württemberg ribbon precede the Friedrich Order? -Does the Austrian Crown Order device look ok? -Is this a Godet ribbon bar (note the clasp and pin)? I assume this ribbon bar was made post 1938 as the two Austrian Orders have been bumped up before the Honour Cross. Thank you Matt
    11. Hi Matthew, I find this interesting. I had always thought medals were mounted in the order received. Just another thing to look out for, my thanks. Best wishes Matt
    12. Gentlemen, I recently came across this 7er medal bar for sale. The Lubeck Hanseatic Cross caught my eye of course. Then I saw the back. It does not look right to me. There is something in the item description stating that the pin/clasp were replaced but the medals and ribbons are original. I am inclined to think that this medal bar has been "made up" of original awards. What do you think? Best wishes Matt
    13. What an impressive ribbon bar which should feel right at home in your excellent collection Christophe. Well done to your good lady wife! She has exquisite taste. I believe I am right in saying Hptm Blohm would have been a comrade of Lt d.R. Hederich & Oblt d. R von Eckstädt. Best wishes Matt
    14. Christer, This is a great find! Given my collection interest I am of course sorry to have missed this one but I am sure it has went to a good home. I have yet to come across a ribbon bar with all three Hansa Crosses present. It is great to see this example. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes Matt
