    1. I posted piccies on GCA [qoute]Hi Larry, last production run of the Type1, 100% original! KR, Thomas 9/quote]
    2. From what I can tell and looking at similar examples over on GCA it's a period piece. later larry

    4. Just got this in the mail today. I really like it as it shows that even the one's who were not "real" soldiers still were instilled with a desire to be "military" A Zugfuhrer of Post Group Z wearing the 1940's regulation insignia and with his Dolch, it appears to be a white handeled dagger
    5. IIRC 30 CAD, is that a good proce? later Larry
    6. For some reason the top bar with the smilies etc has not functioned in the last couple days. Also it does not seem like the daily notification is working either. I did get a big dump of about 40 of them, then nothing. Thanks for all your hard work Nick later Larry
    7. Hello Vicent Many thanks for the information. sincerely Larry
    8. Thanks for posting these, looking forward to the sequel.
    9. Taken from the 15.4.1939 edition of the Uniformen-Markt
    10. Hi Brian Here is the announcment for the Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter that appeared in the 1 Jan 1939 edition of the Uniformen-Markt, this was a bi-monthly publication put out by the Uniform/Medals/Insignia/Swords and Daggers Industries in Germany.
    11. Just re-read your post. I was not aware that there were 3 different colored swords. I knew about the gold and silver ones, but not the Bronze swords. Do you have any information on "wartitles"? later Larry
    12. Thanks Vincent Here they are The gold is actually the same size as the others it just scaned at a different size, and I am too lazy to rescan them.......
    13. Thanks for the link. later Larry
    14. Hello Vincent Thanks for the reply. For the record I understood what you were saying. I appreciate your information, that was going to be my next question, in that the recipient wanted to illustrate his wartime service. On the other hand it could be a collector/seller who added the swords to the medal. I will leave it as it is for the time being...... Hi Paul Not realy, in fact I was a little disapointed. There was one tunic for a Obrest level white career Heer Beamte, however I got the impression that it was a humped up tunic. I did not like the lining and there were no marks inside. I was realy captivated by the mini bar, glad I bought it. later Larry
    15. Do you have a link for that sale? Thanks Larry
    16. You have some very interesting photo's. Looking forward to seeing more. later Larry
    17. hello Thanks for the info, the medal is actually silver. If I am not mistaken it was issued to Pte/Cpl's for 20 years service, career Corporals were not unheard of back then. I based the "Rare" on the fact that when I was researching it I could not find many on the web. Sincerely Larry
    18. Found this much: "20 produced from Feb to May 1940 on Pz KpFw IV Ausf C and D. Each Panzer Div bridging platoon (BL Zug) was issued 4 BL-IV, starting with the 1.Pz Div in March 1940, and also issued to 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 10th Pz Div's in 1940. The only weapon on board was a MG-34. The original order was for 50 BL-IV's, but the order was cut & increased to 60 because of the number of increasing Pz. Div's. As stated, 20 were produced, but the program was cancelled due in part to the campaigns in France & the Low Countries."
    19. Canadian troops were the country to advance the farthest into France out of all the allies on D Day
